When you are applying a quick weave, you may find that it is difficult to remove quick weave with the stocking cap or glue. If you use a stocking cap, keep in mind that the gel in your hair under the cap is keeping the quick weave in real good, but sometimes the gel is not good for your hair.
Glue may get stuck in your hair, which causing a struggle. If you can not remove the glue on your quick weave properly, it may lead to permanent hair loss. Permanent hair loss occurs by trying to force the glue out of your hair without the glue being ready.
The following is a list of steps to do, in case you need to remove the glue from your quick weave.
1. Make sure you have worn out your quick weave to its full capacity.
When you try to remove a new quick weave, it is going to be hard, since the glue has not loosened itself.
2. Use an adhesive glue remover.
Drench the adhesive remover everywhere your quick weave is bonded.
3. Let the hair bond remover sit in hte hair for about 10 minutes.
This will allow the glue to loosen. Some people do not believe how easy it i. You do not have to use glue remover or any type of solvent. Simply immerse the hair in bond remover for around 5-7 minutes.
4. Gently remove the quickweave.
When it is ready, it should start to lift with no hassal. Never yank, pull, or force your quickweave off to limit baldness.
5. Get more bond remover.
If it does not remove, add more hair bond remover and again let it sit for 10 minutes. You will need to repeat this process multiple times for stubborn areas.
6. Wash your hair.
Once all the glue has been removed, you can wash your hair. Washing will remove all the stickiness which you may feel from removing your quick weave. After you have saturated your hair in water remove the tracks, they will come right off. Then shampoo your hair as usual and condition. After all, re-style your hair!
